Well, it took me long enough after about a month of indecision whether or not to have a blog. I'm usually not into all of the techy stuff, but I might as well write something to be for the purpose of the older me getting filled with nostalgia.
The iphone concept got revealed today, which I'm not too enthusiastic about. I have an ipod that I listen to frequently, after all this time I still have 27gb. It's not that I like don't like music (I have played piano for 9 years now and love it), its just that I would rather listen to quality things, rather than just have music which I am not paying attention to blaring in the background. Sometimes I wonder where the world is heading. Everyone is so superficial, always aiming for the more the better. Going back to ipods, how many people who listen have any clue what music is, never mind having any thought on their gazillion songs. I'm one in the scarce minority that still believe technology is only a tool (I got my own laptop), it's good for it's purpose, but cannot be our life (as in all we use). It cannot superceed books in knowledge, overcome human intelligence, or fill you up when your hungry.
But perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps the older me will someday be reading this first blog again, bathing in his own jacizzi, laughing at his younger self, with 12 or 13 robots at his house, doing god-knows-what, and thinking back to the time when machines never relevant. That would obviously be the day when the world is an utopia, and every suffering imaginable is gone.
